North Stradbroke Island Historical Museum is well worth a visit, and won the John Oxley Community Library Heritage award in 2010 for its online heritage trail. The museum has a number of exhibits depicting the life and experiences of early settlers to the area. There are also several art galleries displaying and selling works from local Aboriginal artists.
